The Purpose Bitcoin ETF gained regulatory approval in Canada from the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC). It will debut on the Toronto Stock Exchange, where it can be used for retirement and education savings accounts. The Purpose Bitcoin ETF will trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange using the ticker symbol BTCC.U, according to the prospectus. The fund will purchase only Bitcoin, and investors can buy in with either Canadian dollars or US dollars. US securities regulators have repeatedly declined to approve Bitcoin exchange-traded funds.
